We offer Dial-up accounts for mopst of Winneshiek and Alamakee counties in Northeast Iowa. You can check on our coverage page to see if you can use the service with a local call.
Getting started is easy even if you have no internet experience at all. Just give us a call while you're sitting at your computer, and we'll walk you through the process in 10-15 minutes.
All Dial-Up accounts include the following:
Your personal email address. You can check email over the web or with a pop3 client (such as Eudora)
2 megabytes of server disk space for your personal homepage
Free troubleshooting over the phone
Any number of free email aliases
There are three different types of dial-up accout. The main difference is that more expensive accounts allow for more online-time per month. The vast majority of Oneota Net customers find that the General Account, with 100 monthly hours, provides plenty of surfing time.
All Dial-Up accounts are handled on a prepay-basis. That is, payment for a month of service is expected by the 21st of the previous month. Late payments may cause an interruption of the service. Please refer to our policy for details. If you decide to pay for half a year or a year in advance, the $25 setup-fee is waived.

You can always check your monthly internet usage on our website. Service will be interrupted if you go significantly above the monthly hours provided by your plan. If this happens don't sweat; just give us a call and we'll get you going again right away at no extra charge. If this happens on a regular basis you will have to pay for extra time or consider changing to a different plan.
